Black Thin Float Frame, Basics By Studio Décor® is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 80.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shame on Michaels Such a cheap product, as apparent from other reviews, the frame promptly detached from 'included hanging hardware' and shattered the glass across my dining room floor, damaging my print and embedding glass and plastic into my hardwood floors. Not only did the product fail spectacularly it damaged my floors in the process. Bravo. DO NOT BUY! In fact stop selling this, its awful and doesn't work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Falls apart quick 1, they are incredibly difficult to hang and 2, the backing fell off less than 24 hours after installation and there is no good way to re-attach. Pity, I love how they looked!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fell to the ground and broke within a few months I agree with many of the other reviews about the issues with the picture slipping down in the frame, fingerprints on the glass, etc. But that was all tolerable until this frame one day just detached from the plastic backing (appeared to be held together with some cheap glue), causing the frame to fall to the ground, with glass shattering everywhere. I am lucky that my portrait in the frame was not damaged by the shattered glass!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not sure yet! How does one get a photo into this float frame? Frustrating! There are no directions.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful The description says you can hang so you can see from front and back and there is a hanging wire pre-attached. That is an all out fiction. It is a piece of glass, a piece of acrylic with a stand glued to the back, and four frame pieces which is what is used to hold everything together. And as others indicated, finger prints on the acrylic which you can’t remove. Not *my* finger prints.... and I even used windex as I assembled. Of course based on the return policy, you can’t return it once you have attempted to use it. It’s garbage. Stay away.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute waste of money This is the worst frame I have ever bought, and a complete waste of money. The design is just awful, and involves peeling off the black side pieces, which are cheap plastic that can easily break, off to separate the two sheets of plastic that make up the frame. The hanging "hardware" on the back is just glued on right in the middle of the back piece, making it very awkward to hang. I paid 20 dollars Canadian with tax for this, because it, of course, can't be bought with a Michaela coupon because it is part of their in house brand or whatever. The whole frame kept making ominous cracking noises the whole time I was holding it, and continued to once I put it on a shelf. Absolute garbage, will 100 % go to IKEA next time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from How do you get the 8x10 page out? OK I am not the smartest person but I do have some brains..... How do you open the frame? It has a 8x10 paper between glass. I tried to take the frame apart but I'm afraid of breaking it. Do you just tape the picture to the front glass?? What's the point of the frame then?? The plastic back piece stinks too - wish I had noticed it before opening the package. I can live with the poor hanging method but I what the heck??

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice idea flawed execution I bought this to frame some 11x17 art and it worked well...at first. After a week the art had started to slide downward inside the frame. By a month the art had slipped all the way to the bottom of the frame.
