Snags yarn
The feel of the bamboo is light but sturdy. The cord is flexible. Has some memory to it. I am giving this one star because where the cord joins the needles, it snags the stitches. CERY frustrating. These needles just sit at the bottom of my bag.

You'll never go back!
If you've never used bamboo needles before, you owe it to yourself to try them! They are soft to hold and the yarn slides easily along the needles. It's hard for me to use any other kind of needle (i.e. plastic, aluminum) after using bamboo.

fine qualtiy product from Clover
Wonderfully smooth - but painfully sharp points! - bamboo 16" circular knitting needles from Clover. Quick dip into very hot water and the nylon cord nicely relaxes (plus you can make tea from the hot water). Prefer the blunter tips but love my Clovers!

My favorite knitting needles
These are great for traveling. They are nice and compact size. I really like the bamboo material because it makes the yarn slide off nice and east but still has a grip so stitches don't fall off while knitting in public transportation.
