Spotty quality
I'm working with my fourth big cake now, and none of them have been the same. Two have a lot of mottling in the color, and two have almost none, which makes the finished blanket look dirty. The blacks are different shades. Worst, in my last big cake the colors don't blend, but are knotted. If I was making this blanket for a gift, instead of just something to do i'd be embarassed and angry.

Love this yarn!
I have sensory issues with fabrics and yarns, and this yarn is wonderful and doesn't play into them. Easy to work with, haven't run into any knot problems.

This yarn is full of knots
This large cake of yarn is not one continuous strand of yarn. It’s tied together with MANY ugly knots that show up in my crochet. It’s impossible to hide them. I was making a bedspread for a full size bed with this. I have been unable to find more of the color I was using online or in the store too. Major disappointment in this yarn.

Horrible quality control.
I will not being buying this product again. I bought 10 caron big cakes in three different colors. They are all just as poor quality with dark dye splotches on the light color sections.

Love Big Cakes
I have made several projects with the Big Cakes I am able to find. I would love if Michaels, would consider restocking their shelves with these items as I find making scarves, hats and blankets both for myself and family so easy with Caron Big Cake.

Caron Big Cakes
Sometimes the yarn is thick and sometimes really thin. Some of the colour changes are blended nicely and others are knotted. One cake had a whole section of one shade loose on it's own. I didn't know what to do with that. A lot less to weave in, that's awesome and I got the cakes on sale, just over $30 for an afghan. It's for me! I'm happy with it

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN MICHAELS
I have been looking for a yarn brand, CARON TEA CAKES. I have a project that is half done thanks to Michaels. One of my kids accidentally threw the band away, so I would have to see the color to identify the color for sure. Michaels ALWAYs HAD WHAT I NEEDED then all of a sudden poof. I AM NOT A VERY HAPPY CAMPER RIGHT NOW...

It was not worth the money I paid, very disappoint
Not what I expected at all, lots of knots, colors did not blend well,I did not get any pleasure working with it. And I love working with yarn.
