Aleene’s is the BEST
No other glue beats this product. Other glues may say they’re adhesive strong but Aleene’s has proved time and time again for several projects of mine to be the best. AND best pricing is always at Michael’s.

Little brown bottle of good glue!
I am an embroiderer who sometimes creates landscaped fabric backgrounds. I used to machine stitch the layers down, but on the advice of a YouTuber, I started using Aleene's Tacky Glue. I squirt the glue into a small container, then use either a fine paint brush, a mascara brush or even a cotton swab to spread it on my fabric piece. Much easier than running over to the machine every few minutes!

Tacky Glue
I used this to seal the fibers in place on the back of my punch needle rug. I let it dry over night. It wasn't horrible but it did dry weird. This was my first time using this so I think I used a little too much. I still like this product a lot and will definitely use this again but sparingly.
