Buy a bigger model
This works okay as a vague reference model but being so small means the joints aren’t as smoothly articulated as one would hope. Many poses are impossible to form, and parts of the body, such as the head, refuse to stay in place. Though I can’t prove it, I suspect larger models will be easier to use, and would provide a better reference for sketching.

A Reason to Buy
I always need one of these little guys when I do not have one. With a Michael's coupon, I decided it was my essential buy-of-the-week. I did not expect to get one at such a great price so I purchased the larger one (12 inches). Mine is the varnished version at no increased price.

Mannequin stretch
This is a great mannequin, however the joints are a little creeky and it doesn’t stay exactly in the position you want. It’s a great product, that was my only issue.
