paint poured dresser
Give old furniture a beautiful, modern look with a paint pour finish.
Step 1 |
Give old furniture a beautiful, modern look with a paint pour finish. Step 1 Paint the dresser with Hunter Green paint. Leave the front of the drawers white. Let dry. Step 2 Remove the knobs from the drawers. Detach the drawer fronts from the dresser. Nail the drawer fronts onto a strip of scrap wood. When you pour on the drawers, this will make it look like one cohesive marbled pattern. Step 3 Mix one part Hunter Green paint to two parts Pouring Medium in a cup, then stir with a wood craft stick. Repeat this step with your remaining colors. Step 4 Protect your work space with a drop cloth. Pour your paint and medium mixture onto your drawer fronts. Swirl until you reach your desired look. Let dry overnight. Step 5 Carefully score each individual drawer with an X-ACTO® knife. Remove nails and separate drawer fronts from the scrap wood. Step 6 Re-attach your drawer fronts to your drawers. Re-attach knobs. Share your project photos with #MadeWithMichaels |
