I have the small set and the color lays down very smoothly. The cost for the larger set is prohibitive to some one on a fixed income unless you can combine a sale price with another % off coupon. But I do prefer them over the next most popular brand.

BEWARE FROM BUYING ON AMAZON
When you buy from an art store like Michaels or Hobby lobby you’re guaranteed to get actual Prisma colored pencils! People who purchase them for the first time won’t know the difference from the knock offs! Look at the low reviews before purchasing these colored pencils from amazon for Half the price!

Way overpriced!
These are great! They were recommended by my interior design teacher and I have loved them since. I got the 150 pack. It’s $189 I just found them on amazon got $89. Buy them there!

Amazing, but you can get it cheaper
These coloured pencils are amazing quality and I use them for my art all the time. The problem is, Micheals has them really overpriced here. For example the 150 set here is over 200 dollars, and I found it on amazon for just over 100 dollars, about half the price!

Photos of product misrepresent colors received
I am giving this a fair review. I have no issue with the product itself, but rather with Michael's. The photo of the back of the tin clearly shows two grey colors. In actuality, one of those is white and the other silver. The photo on the site showing the pencils themselves shows a number 1065 Grey which isn't even in the 36 count kit, as well as a few others. This is misleading and I am not happy about it. I got this kit for the numerous colors, but made sure there would be a gray in it because my son needed it and it wasn't in the smaller kit her already had. Now I have a 36 count kit and he still has no gray to speak of, when your photos show it in there. I am beyond aggravated with Michael's at this point and I still want my gray pencil as he cannot finish something he was working on without it, and silver won't do. Your photos are blatantly wrong, and yes I am looking at the ones for the 36 count pencil kit, which clearly shows the 1065 Cool Gray in the set. The back of the tin, as stated, shows two colors that look gray, and the first number corresponds to the white pencil. I want a gray pencil shown shipped to me. I'm not kidding. You people screwed up, so fix it.

These color pencils are exceptional
Applying color is very smooth. The colors are rich and deep. The pencils glide over paper evenly without damaging it. I love them.

This product is great but the price
This product is great and professional,but these prisma color pencils are kind of pricy here at micheals when I checked the prices at other online shops like amazon it was about 20$ but these colored pencils still came in great packaging
