It is hard to beat the overall shine of this line of paper, not without manual foiling or embossing anyways.  The paper can be finicky if your die is not sharp enough, or if you try cutting it from the bottom, plain side.  
The shine is basically just foil on cardstock, and while it normally doesn't peel at all, doing too fine a die cut from the wrong side can cause it to flake around the edges and warp. It also can pull off if you don't get a clean cut and then try to remove the cut.
Best practice is to cut the metal side against the metal die, and be sure to run it through a few times to ensure it goes through completely.

It's been MONTHS of awful packaging. The paper is so bent that most of it goes to waste, and I have to settle for it because it's one of the most requested colors by my clients. It's very frustrating for me.

They sent my scrapbook paper in a plastic bag, arrived bent and wet. 
Why don't they use common sense and ship in a box?
Very disappointed. Not the first time either. Can't trust Michaels to ship correctly.

This was a pick up order! I guess they decided to give it to me! My husband picked up the order or I would have taken it back in. It was packaged CURLED on the edges and as much as I have tried I can't get it to flatten! I have to have the stickiest mat to cut it on my cricut or it won't work. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

BUT my other order has not even shipped as of the 21st and I placed the order back on the 15th. very disappointed in Micheals shipping will be shopping more at their main competition from now on. 
  if you really need something go to Hobby Lobby instead as I will from now on!

pick up irder. all curled and damaged. i didnt see it until i was home. this is unacceptable that a clerk would put this in a tied upback for a customer. returning.

This package arrived warped.  I am trying to lay it under some heavy objects to hopefully straighten it out.  I am not happy with receiving merchandise in less than perfect condition.
