This is a side-loader, so there's no edge back on one side. The glass piece is not 6x8 and is weirdly framed inside a matte piece. Terrible all around

This frame was the only one we found in town for a Memorial gift we were working on.  The actual photo was 8 x 10 but needed a slightly bigger opening because of wording around the edge.  This frame came with a very narrow mat that we removed and then placed a stiff black piece of felt (from your craft department) behind our photo.  It worked out perfect!!! The frame itself is narrow silver natural aluminum, then the black felt frame with the small line of white on our photo looks even better then we expected.  The receivers loved it as much as we did. Couldn't be happier!  A gift that will be enjoyed for years to come.

I was looking for a frame for a loving letter of affection for a friend and found the Aluminum Frame with Mat, Expressions, by Studio Decor to be the perfect one.

Looks like they decided to cut corners and make the glass too small for the frame.  It is held in place by tape against the matting.  The problem is you can see the tape over the matting.  I would prefer to pay more to have glass that fits the frame than have the manufacturer decrease the size of the glass and tape it to the matting to reduce manufacturing costs.
