This is one of those funky monkey kind of jewelry parts I find and I turn into an instant 4 year old. ... I don't know if I want to share this... but it's so cool I have to. Just wait until you see it in antique, rusty black finish...(at this point I'm waiting on pictures). it's a really cool part.

This is are a real life sized (the big ugly gross kind with shiny blue, green or gold bodies... can you tell I hate flies? ) He has six little sturdy bend-able legs that you can wrap around stuff. I've have an example of how I've used it in a necklace pendant.

Yeah, yeah, I hate flies, but I really do like weird parts, beetles, bugs, dragonflies make interesting cool jewelry statements. This guy is no different. He measures approximately 22mm x 20mm (25mm = 1 inch) 

They are100% brass that has been sterling silver plated with a dull oxidized finish. They are NOT shiny. I'm aesthetically opposed to shiny finishes on metal for the most part, so you won't see shiny silver plate here. No lead or other poisonous materials can be found in these charms.
