Lay the end of a piece of wire that requires straightening on the three rollers, then move the rollers until they form a triangle with the wire in the center. Grasp the rollers in one hand holding tightly, then pull the wire through the rollers to straighten. If your wire is really bent, you may need to pull your wire through a second time. The nylon rollers help to keep your wire coating intact.</span></div>

Works on wires I have tried so far 16 to 22 gauge.  Easiest to use as the wire comes of the spool, not after cutting.

I was skeptical at first but it definitely works. This straightener takes some patience, coordination and hand strength. However, once mastered, it is extremely useful. I used it to straighten some 18 and 16 gauge copper wires that were previously wound tightly around a circular bar. It took several swipes through since all of the wires were highly bent/crimped. The only suggestion I can make is to clip the ends of any heavily bent/damaged wires instead of trying to straighten because it will scratch the nylon rollers. Overall, I am extremly happy with this tool and foresee it lasting for quite some time.

Works best with thinner gauge wires... Luckily you can usually straighten heavier gauge wire by hand. There is a slight learning curve and can take some getting used to. Not sure it's worth paying full price for so make sure you get it with a coupon!!!!!

I thought this would do more. I think if it had a good handle an the wheels were deeper. It would work better. Maybe on 22 gauge wire an thinner it works well , but thicker wire not so great.

Haven't got to use it much, I only to test it out, there's quiet a bit of flashing left over from the molding process, a quick drag with an exacto helps clean up most, but still a fine tool to have at your disposal albeit with a little work.

Great tool. I use it to straighten brass wire from a spool to make decorative safety pins. It worked perfectly. Easy to use. Takes a bit of effort but that's to be expected with wire craft.
