This is more silver than champagne but it is quite lovely. Used it on a drawing my niece made for me.

The frame is attractive, and it was easy to insert the art. The only issue I had was removing the stapled padding on the frame.

The color “champagne” has pale gold tones. This frame is titled “champagne” but is in fact silver-washed. You should be discerning in how the color actually looks and able to ignore the mis-name. It is a nicely curved classic wood frame, with antique or distressed style (like the finish has worn off, but no holes or wire brushing), and a metallic silver satin finish. It is a cool tone frame. I paired the frame with muted green, blue, and brown watercolor landscapes. Everything arrived quickly and in good condition. D-ring mounting on the frame sides. Typical frame back. See pictures.

Love this frames but needs instructions.  People complaining about the frame need pay attention when they take the backing out of the frameto see that the back side with no clips is designed to be slid back into the groove on that side of the frame back - the backing then drops right in, and then when clips are slid into grooves on each side the whole back is then secured!
