We enjoyed playing this game until we found an extremely offensive item. In the category “oxymoron” the game put “Ethiopian food”. I was horrified that any people would be so disparaged as to claim that what they ate could not be considered food. The Ethiopian people have a long and rich hitiry, and a distinctive cuisine. But even if this was not true, they deserve the respect to be seen as fully human—every human being eats food! I hope that Michael’s will not restock this game until the manufacturer corrects this insult and trains its creative staff to have the cultural competence to avoid racist statements like this in the future.
