Shortcuts let you zip ahead, but they're risky too - are you willing to chance it? Along the way, aggravate your opponents by sending them back to their Base. Watch out! You might be sent back yourself! Be the first to get all your pirces Home and you'll win the game (You don't have to aggravate the other players in order to win, but it sure helps!)
