Even in the smallest slit in the ring, it would not fit even the biggest jump rings. I thought this would be a helpful tool for me because I spend a lot of time opening jump ring for earrings, and being able to hold them in place without using my fingers sounded like a really convenient option.  Unfortunately the slits on the ring were too big for even the largest jump ring I had in the smallest slit. They slide around and it does not hold them at all appropriately. Cool piece of jewelry, but not functional at all
