It is definitely one of those that assistance would be needed for beginner clay makers. The colors of the clay were nice and vibrant and I honestly think he loved that the animals came as skeletons. The tools were helpful with conforming the correct shape onto the frame. Overall, fun but time consuming.

It is hours a fun for the whole family. I will definitely be buying again and even gifting to other children! Highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are different models available like an unicorn. Once you pick a model, you pick the color of clay you want. There is yellow clay, purple clay, and about 3 other clay colors. Since there is more than one model, multiple kids can create some magical fun at once. Since it is clay, things can get messy. So put down something you don't mind getting dirty or a place clay can be easily cleaned up.

The clay was a bit difficult for them to manipulate but they still managed to create some creatures. I would have liked to seen more tools and decorations included.

The skeletons are of strudy quality, they are strong and can held up to the weight of the clay. They are fun to do since all you have to do is shape the skeleton with the clay and put the extra accessories like the feathers and the eyes. The only complaint I heard from the kids were the clay are a bit tough and hard to mold and for that I give it a 4 star. It's fun, entertaining and a great creativity outlet. The clay are nicely colored and so you can really appreciate your art work afterwards.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this for my daughter's 4th birthday. She's obsessed with unicorns and dinosaurs, so this is right up her alley. Her creations don't look quite as good as what's on the box, but she had a blast playing with the clay and shaping them according to her imagination. You can rework the clay and reuse it, but she seems to like the little characters she created the first time around. Definitely a good gift for imaginative little ones!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this was really neat.  it came with 3 fossils of a unicorn, dragon, phoenix that you get to decorate with 5 different colors of clay.  my granddaughter had so much fun with this.  oh they came with eyes and feathers too
