These were great for decorating at the holidays, I would recommend them being used inside out of the elements so they will look nice longer, mine got wet being outside and molded unless you seal them first.

This is a perfect size straw bale that I use for my feral cat houses it can fill about 2. It keeps them warmer as straw is optimal versus hay which can get wet and not dry love the size and will buy again

I use these straw bales for bedding for feral cats in the winter. I don't need a full size bale of straw and I get these when they go on clearance. They are perfect and easy to store the extras.

This was a poor purchase. The bundle came already falling apart in the plastic wrapping. I probably should have left in the plastic because when I opened it the  small broken up pieces were everywhere and it never stopped shedding. It wasn't the traditional "messy hey" look; instead it looked like left over hey scraps that they tried to tie together!! Save your money DO NOT PURCHASE!!
