After using these charcoal pencils, it seems to me that this product is either old stock or quality is poor. When using the pencils, each one that I used broke off immediately after and then after I sharpen them again, they would break off. The colors didn’t seem to match the tip of the pencil to show what color it should be. Charcoal is my favorite medium and I was pretty disappointed in this product, considering the amount of money it cost. On the positive side, they do color evenly across the paper

I love this Set!! Worth every penny. The vibrant colors , the way they blend.. Awesome! Wish I would of got the big set! Top quality. Meets all my expectations.

These pencils are a great Edition to what I already own , sharpens to fine point when needed and great application to assorted papers . I did have issue with shipping of pencils to my home in the mountains though… bubble bag too big and product inside shook around denting and warping tin and damaged a couple tips on pencils . Michaels customer service was great and handled the problem excellently! Yay ! But in the future I will use ship to store for pencils they don’t stock regularly such a Dewent, they carry small sets of .  But that being said the shipping is still awesome. So are these pencils !
