Coated with environmentally friendly water-based and weather-resistant paint, the kit is designed to withstand external elements, providing a durable home for your bees. Many beekeepers in warmer climates paint their hives with lighter, more reflective colors such as white. This helps keep the hive cool during those long, hot summer days.
Two deep hive bodies and 20 frames, two supers and 20 frames, one telescoping cover with inner cover, and one bottom board reducer are included. 
Plastic-coated beeswax foundation helps bees produce honeycombs faster and increase honey production; Layered 40-frame design offers more space for brood.
