PRE-DRAFTED ROVING is combed top roving that has been drafted to thumb thickness resulting in an even, soft fiber strand; thicker than bulky yarn but thinner than standard wool roving. In other words, the work of drafting has already been done for you. This allows a beginning spinner to concentrate on the hand movements of spinning, get into a spinning rhythm and experience quick success with a new craft. If you have never used a drop spindle before, this is the perfect starter kit for you.

HAND DYED TO PERFECTION: careful kettle dyeing in small batches allows us to create tonally complex, vivid coloring with nuances that can only be achieved by hand dyeing. We are proud to offer these variegated colors to discerning crafters who appreciate the unique qualities of hand dyed fiber. Please note that each batch of hand dyed fiber varies a bit and that colors can appear slightly different on every device.
