This light is fantastic. Perfect size and being able to bend the light and magnifying glass is a huge help. It's so great I'm buying another one for my son who does puzzles and builds models.

This lamp is unfortunately a disappointmebt. The bulb is HOT. it generates so mych heat that using it is uncomfortable. I will own that; I should have gotten an LED lamp i guess. the button to turn this thing on jammed and its a nightmare trying to turn it in. it has never been dropped, its kept clean and one day the button just got stuck in one position. Its clunky and heavy. Lesson learned. Wont be purchasing from this brand again.

I purchased this at least 8 years ago for my husband to do tasks with tiny intricate pieces. I used it to do my own nails. I’m purchasing another for my brother in law as he ties his own flies for fly fishing. Honestly anyone that has a hobby would benefit from this. The best part is you can position the light and magnifying glass separately. Most wouldn’t think that was necessary but it’s huge! A friend recently took up painting very detailed art and said she should purchase one. A excellent item!
