 real coral beads. The strand measures 15-1/2" long. I find this size is helpful in creating delicate earring compositions. I usually hang this size beads or pearls on tiny chains with some crystals. They can be added with larger beads and crystals in necklace and bracelet compositions as well, to give more dimension to the compositions. (I call them compositions because to me jewelry making is no different than painting or collage work, you put combinations of elements in both and it takes experimentation and a lot of colors and elements to really explore and create a composition that sings to you. My working desk usually had so much stuff on it from experimentation I barely can find an open space to work on it.) Coral is a very organic and versatile element. It can be paired with glass, pearls or other stones. The color is very beautiful too. This listing is for one strand.
