Icing is nice to work with, takes color nicely, and pipes lovely. Why does it taste like a can of Betty Crocker icing?!?! I was really disappointed. Every product I’ve ever bought of satin ice has been amazing. I used the icing in a pinch instead of making my own, never doing that again.

Flavor was good , much easier that making homemade but i like homemade a bit better . This allowed me to be able to whip up a Barbie cake quicker than not and i would get in a pinch

I like Satin Ice products and have used their Buttercream frosting mix where I add butter and/ or shortening and beat it in a mixer. I really like the taste of that. This Satin Ice product needs no additions and is ready to pipe or spread with some vigorous hand mixing. It did pipe easily. The taste is just ok compared to when I used their mix. I needed something quick and convenient and this fit the bill but when taste matters more then I will make my own or see if I can find the mix.
