I started doing biological sketches awhile back; I used to really stink at drawing, but something just magically changed in the last two years, and now I'm playing catch up with learning the proper tools for the job. I asked some artist friends what's is a good precision eraser and was almost unanimously pointed to the Tombow Mono. I ordered the 2.3mm Ultra-Fine. It came earlier than expected, and I happened to be in the middle of a sketch, so I got to try it immediately. I never knew I could fall in love with an eraser, but here we are. The quality is excellent, it feels good in the hand, and the elastomer eraser material and fine point makes incredibly precise and powerful, and the inserts last incredibly long. You can get most any stubborn line out, or using it lightly, create highlights in a shaded/blended sections. Beginner or well-seasoned artist, you NEED this quality tool in your arsenal. It's so good that I get excited when it comes out of the sketching box and I get to use it. My only gripe with it is that it does leave expended eraser material on the tip, but a quick rub with a finger and it comes right off. I cannot recommend this tool highly enough. Thank you for making a quality product at an incredibly low price point. If you're one the fence on which precision eraber to buy, look no further, because it doesn't get better than this.

It's very tiny which is good for details. There are refills available which make it so much easier instead of buying a whole holder. Over time it will loose its cylinder shape and become more pointy, well in my case. Overall, I really like it and how fast it arrived. Also it was way cheaper here than on Amazon.

I bought my first one to use for cardmaking. It promptly caught the eye of my daughter, who draws with pencil and she absconded with it. Suffice it to say, she continues to request refills for it, so it must be good for her needs.
So I bought myself one and Yay! It's great for disappearing the tiniest pencil markings in the tightest of spaces.
