I work as ECE and I bought a lot of materials to Michaels, one of my favourite is Cardstock. I bought a lot of different colours of Cardstock at Michaels for my activities and they're all amazing quality and thickness is the best, recently i bought the white Cardstock, the quality and colour is perfect for my new project.

Shredded and peeled from the sheet while trying to cut!  Never have I experienced such inferior grade cardstock.  You would think Michael's would pull this item off their inventory rather than continuing to sell it to more unsuspecting customers. When I tried to return the 100 pk., I was refused because the pack had been opened.  No "sorry, we'll give you a credit, or exchange"--Nothing!

Just like all of the other previous ones that have sent a review..... this paper is terrible.  I use Recollections in all my other things and it is great.  However, I bought this value pack of White 12 x 12 and it has done nothing but tear when I use it with my cricut.  Then I started searching and see where I am not the only one with this problem.  I am very dissatisfied.  Not worth your money!

This paper tears and scrapes with a brand-new blade in.  I always get this brand, but I would not get this value pack.

This batch of paper is terrible for intricate cut work. The paper feels different than before, one side is more felt-like in feeling instead of smooth and solid, (the other side is smooth as expected) and the paper snags and rips instead of giving a clean cut on intricate Cricut cutting designs. I am going to try to return it. This is unusual, I still depend on this brand.

Something major has changed about this cardstock. It is NOT 65lb. I have a pack of the same brand I bought from Michael's a few months ago and compared the paper to what I recently purchased and there is a definate difference in the thickness and quality of this paper now. It tore rather than cut in my cutting machine and left a mess. I had to scrape the paper off my mat. I will be returning the unopened packs and probably throw away the 90+ sheets I cannot use and I will not be buying this brand again. Michaels needs to talk with their supplier and fix this problem.

I was very suprised when I tried to use this for the first time tonight! I was trying to cut flowers from my Cricut Program. I had attached one sheet of the white 65lb cardstock to one of my "Light Grip" Cricut mats & hit the button to start the cut. As soon as the machine started, it was ripping the paper as it cut! I immediately paused the machine and changed to a brand new blade then hit play. As it continued, it was still ripping the cardstock! I had no choice but to let the machine finish its cut. After taking it out of the machine, I started to try to remove it from the mat and it started to peel in half! I couldn't get it to let go of the mat! I ended up having to use my scraper tool and scrap it off like it was paint!!! I really hope I can get a refund for this! What I don't understand, I use this brand and weight of cardstock in all other colors and have NEVER had any issues with it! Something is different with the white, you can feel its thinner than the colored ones!

This particular color of Recollections paper is horrendous, it doesn't cut well on a Cricut and would rather separate from itself than come off the cutting mat. Other colors from Recollections work perfectly fine, cut cleanly, and separate from the cutting mat with ease. The texture of this paper is noticeably "rougher" than the other colors which may be part of the issue. Even the white in the "Essentials" pack (Item #10340039) is far better than this one.
