Perfect for a 4-5 year old with parent assistance

My son was very excited for this ship he bought with his Christmas money. As he and dad sat down tonight to put it together, they discovered the kit was missing quite a few pieces, making it unusable. Unfortunately, too many days have probably passed between the kit’s purchase (January) and the discovery of missing pieces (April) to get a refund or exchange for one with all its parts. Disappointed.

Made this with my kid. It was quick and easy, but glueing the paper sails and string on took a little more finesse and patience for my kid's age so it was good we were working together. I'd almost consider using a better glue and felt/canvas for the sails instead of what was provided if this was meant for more than a quick kid project (like if you intended to display it on a shelf or something). Still a good time with my kiddo, who enjoyed playing with this after building.
