Design a jack-o-lantern as desired in Cricut® Design Space™.

Size the design as you would like it to appear across two t-shirts and weld all of the pieces.
TIP: To weld, select all and click ‘Weld’ at the bottom right corner of your screen.

Click ‘Shapes’ in the left panel and choose a square. Size it so it covers half of your design and arrange the square so the left edge is right down the middle of your design (and covering the right half). Now, select all and click ‘Slice’ in the lower right corner. Remove excess square pieces until you are left with your jack-o-lantern that has been split down the middle.

Click ‘Make It’ in the upper right corner of your screen.

In your preview screen, check ‘Mirror’ in the left panel for each mat, to reverse your image.

Now, click ‘Continue’ in the bottom right corner of your screen and choose the correct material.

Place the iron-on material, shiny-side down, onto your cutting mat. Load the mat into your Cricut® machine, then press the blinking Cricut® icon to start cutting.

Use scissors to cut the design from each iron-on material roll. Next, use your weeder tool to remove all the excess material around and inside your design. You’ll be left with just the reversed design on the clear plastic carrier sheets, which are slightly sticky.

To ensure the design will line up correctly, especially if there are height differences, have each person put on their t-shirt. One person is to place the design onto the other person’s shirt and use heat resistant tape (or carefully pin) to help keep it in place. Then the second person repeats on the other shirt. Look in the mirror and adjust as needed. Carefully remove the shirts.
TIP: Having a third person may be a good idea to help with alignment or use a washable fabric marker to mark placement.

See instructions included with your heat press to attach your design to your t-shirt, one t-shirt at a time.

If your material is the warm peel type, you may go ahead and peel off the carrier sheet. If your material is a cool peel type, let it cool completely before removing the carrier sheet.
