INSTRUCTIONS:

With A, ch 176.

Row 1: With A, sc in 4th ch from hook (skipped chains count as ch-1 sp), *ch 1, sk 1 ch, sc in next ch; rep from * across, turn "“ 87 sc, 87 ch-2 sps.

Row 2: With A, ch 2 (counts as ch-1 sp), *sc in ch-1 sp, ch 1; rep from * across, ending with a sc in turning ch.

Rows 3-4: With B, ch 2 (counts as ch-1 sp), *sc in ch-1 sp, ch 1; rep from * across, ending with a sc in turning ch.

Rows 5-6: With A, ch 2 (counts as ch-1 sp), *sc in ch-1 sp, ch 1; rep from * across, ending with a sc in turning ch.

Repeat Rows 3-6 until cowl measures 10" ending with Row 4 or 6.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail. With tail sew short edges together to form a loop.

Finishing: Weave in ends.
