MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 7" wide x 64" long, excluding fringe

GAUGE: 18 sts and 24 rows = 4" in stocking st

INSTRUCTIONS

Cast on 31 sts.

1st row: (RS). *K3. P1. Rep from * to last 3 sts. K3.

2nd row: K1. *P1. K3. Rep from * to last 2 sts. P1. K1.

3rd to 6th rows: Rep 1st and 2nd rows twice more.

7th row: K1. *P1. K3. Rep from * to last 2 sts. P1. K1.

8th row: *K3. P1. Rep from * to last 3 sts. K3.

9th to 12th rows: Rep 7th and 8th rows twice more.

These 12 rows form Waffle Texture Pat.

Cont in Waffle Texture Pat until work from beg measures approx 64" , ending

on a 6th or 12th row of pat. Cast off.

Fringe: Cut lengths of yarn 16" long. Taking 3 strands tog, fold in half and

knot into fringe evenly across each end of Scarf. Trim fringe evenly.
