First, choose a holiday icon in Cricut® Design Space™. Size to fit on your ornament.

Now, click ‘Make It’ in the upper right corner and then click ‘Continue’ in the lower right corner of your screen.

Place the cardstock onto your cutting mat and load it into your Cricut® machine. Select ‘Cardstock' as your material and follow the prompts to cut out your design. Once the machine has finished cutting, gently peel the cardstock away from your mat.

Position the icon template on your carvable ornament and trace the shape(s).

Plug in and preheat your hotknife. Carefully cut out the shape(s).

Use liquid gilding to paint inside and around the cut-out shape(s).

Now, cut a vinyl name (or message) from your Cricut® machine.

Weed the negative vinyl around and within your name, then use transfer tape to transfer it to the ornament. Burnish it down, then remove the tape.
TIP: If you cut out some holly leaves with berries, choose three of the same size balls from the glitter balls pack. Hot glue them into place for berries for the holly leaves.

Make a bow from the ribbon and tie (or glue) it onto the top of your ornament.
TIP: Place a flameless candle inside the ornament if desired. You may need to cut a larger hole in the bottom of the ornament using the hotknife.
