Cut two lengths of cord, each about 10" [25.4 cm].

Lay both cords on your working surface so they are parallel to each other. Now, shift one down so there is about 6" [15.2 cm] of overlap on one end.

Tie an overhand knot, attaching both cords together, as close to the end of one of the cords as possible.
TIP: On one side of the knot, you should have about 4½" [10.1 cm] of cord and other the other side, you should have two cord pieces: one about 9½" [24.1 cm] and the other about 5" [2 cm].

Working on one side of the knot with two cords, add a sea turtle bead into both cords and slide it up so it is flush against the knot.

Add pony beads onto each cord separately.

Tie an overhand knot with both cords so your beads are in between the two knots.

Cut the excess of the short cord extending beyond each knot but leave a very short tail. Do not cut the longer cords from either side.

ADULT: Carefully use a lighter to melt the very short tail. The melted end will also act as a stopper to secure the knot.

Now, arrange the longer ends of your your bracelet into a circle and overlap the ends.

With the end of the cord hanging to the left, tie an overhand knot around the overlapped cord. Turn around and repeat with the other side.
TIP: Turning the bracelet around ensures your knots are consistent.

Add a pony bead to each end and tie a knot to secure the bead.

ADULT: Repeat Step 8 on each end.
