Measure and cut one 120" [304.8 cm] length of each of the following cords: red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue and purple, for a total of seven 120" [304.8 cm] lengths.
TIP: This measurement is based on a 7" [18 cm] wrist. Adjust lengths of floss cord as needed.

Gather cords together and align them so they are even. Fold them in half and tie a double knot about ½" [1.3 cm] from the fold. Tape the floss to your working space, above the knot.

Now, separate the cords so each like-cord (red with red, orange with orange) is together, then arrange them so they are in rainbow order from left to right: red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue and purple (or the order you would like your stripes).

To start the knotting process, place the red (left) cords perpendicular over the orange cords, creating a “4” shape. Next, wrap the red cord ends under the orange cords and thread through the loop of the “4” shape and pill the ends so the knot moves up to the top. Repeat for a second knot. The red cords are now all the way over to the right.

Repeat Step 4 with the orange cords. Work them across all cords.

Continue this pattern until you reach the bracelet length desired.

Tie a double knot with all of the cords together just under the last knotted row.

Make a second double knot about ½" [1.3 cm] from the previous knot and trim the ends.

To wear, slide the last knot through the top loop.
