QuickWater for Silks™ Simulated Water is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great DYI silk flower arrangement product! Super easy to use. Recommend wearing gloves. I used a disposable plastic container to mix the 2 solutions & stirred it with a plastic knife.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still experimenting. Concept is cool I bought two boxes. The first go around, I took 5 minutes slowly pouring the contents of the bottles into a mixing container. ( I watched u tube videos, which have stated that going slowly is the key!) I found it took me 12 minutes (vs the 5-8 they state in the directions) of stirring to get rid of the "ribbons", which are light traces of the two compounds mixing together. I poured it super slowly and also got some tiny bubbles, though they didn't bother that particular project. But the gel did not set in 8 hours. It was still rubbery up to 3 days later. I put them aside and ignored them and only checked them another week later. Then, I discovered the gel had set! Still not hard like glass-more like stiff rubber. I tried pouring a second layer over them (3 weeks after the first layer was poured/cured) with the second box! That second layer has not cured at all. It is still in a thick gel form. I touched the top with the top of a pen. It pulled up and left a dimple. But that dimple resettled into the gel after less than 5 min. I will put in by a sunny window, as one reviewer has suggested, and see if it cures. I did learn one TIP the second time around! Using a popsicle stick vs using a skinny chopstick for stirring created LESS BUBBLES! I used the same amount of pouring and stirring times. I did use a dryer both times. Just for about 10 seconds and that also got rid of a few of the bigger bubbles. Back to the gel not setting, I wondering if it has to do with the amounts I mixed together? In the first box, the 2 bottles had equal amounts of liquid. The second box, however, had slightly different amounts. There was about 1/2 inch more of part B than part A.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to understand It takes a little longer to set if there are more items than silk flowers in the vase

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money I tried to do it with drift wood. It did not work, and I followed the directions to the t. I watched many different youtube videos, and one of the employees of Michael's told me this would work much better than what I was finding in the videos. I have also used coupons and my military ID and the cashier said there was no way to combine both (which is weird bc that's one of the main reasons why I go to Michaels).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bubbles throughout Followed directions explicitly and ended up with a vase full of tiny bubbles. So ugly. Ruined the project.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ruined 2 sets of pricey silk floral arrangements I followed the directions to a T, stirred more slowly than a turtle crossing the road, and used heat, but still ended up with thousands of tiny bubbles once the mixture was poured (slowly) into the permanant container. It's too viscous by the time you are done mixing and ready to pour it for any small bubbles to rise to the surface. It ruined 2 sets of expensive flowers as once they set thats it. There are better products out there.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Once you get the hang of it, it is great! This is a great product once you get the hang of it. I use is daily for a business I run. Here are a few tips and tricks I have learned - Bubbles? Let it cure in the sun. Viola! Bubbles are gone - Warm up the resin before mixing it. Get some water in a big bowl really hot in the microwave. Set your closed bottles of resin in the water for a few minutes. This helps you minimize bubbles. - Stir SLOW when mixing. SLOW SLOW SLOW. I hardly ever have the patience to do this though and will normally leave it in the sun and the bubbles will dissipate. - Patience. This takes a few hours to cure. Again, you can let cure in the sun to speed up the process. It is a little pricey but I haven't found a better product. This doesn't yellow and it is just beautiful.
