rainbow earrings with uv resin
Step 1 |
Make sure mold is clean, dry and free of dust. Pour UV resin into the mold directly from the bottle, filling the cavity less than 1/3 of the way. |
Step 2 |
Add some rainbow sprinkles, spreading them out evenly. |
Step 3 |
Pour additional resin to fill the mold to the top. |
Step 4 |
Cure the mold under the UV lamp for several minutes until completely cured. Cool for 1-2 minutes. De-mold the shape by popping it out of the mold. If still slightly tacky, cure again under the UV light. |
Step 5 |
Attach a 6mm jump ring to the top of the shape, then attach an earwire to the jump ring using a 6mm jump ring. |
Step 6 |
Add glue to the bottom "legs" of the rainbow and attach one white pom-pom. Let dry. |
Step 7 |
Repeat Steps 1-6 for a second earring. |
