Rit® DyeMore™ Synthetic Fabric Dye is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 62.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Synthetic Dye - Check Garment First I’ve dyed everything from minky fabric to poly blended blouses using DyeMore. If directions are followed properly you’ll get even coverage - with no color bleeding after first wash. NOTE* some synthetic (man made) fabrics are treated in several washes by fabric manufacturers. If the garment you’re dying has a thick coating or a film-y feel to it, there’s a good chance it’s a water & or stain resistant coating. It’s not going to absorb dye. Also highly recommend taking a glance at the formula chart Rit has on their website. It breaks down formulas per garment category/dye bath size/ the resulting color.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from all 6 bottles were bought 6 bottles of this color Kentucky Blue when opening them to use them all of the seals were taken off and color was diluted...Tried to call Michaels but no one answered. bought another color for another project from Walmart you had to peel back the seal. My question is this how Michael sells their product in house or did this come from a seller somewhere

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The dye works- MUST FOLLOW DIRECTIONS ON BOTTLE!!! READ READ READ DIRECTIONS!!! For Rit DyeMore, it reads in the directions along the lines of YOU MUST USE A STAINLESS STEEL POT WITH TEMPERATURE OVER 180°-200°F W/ 1/2 TBS. DISH SOAP AND STIR FOR CONSISTENTLY FOR 1 HOUR- in order for Polyester to take. I have always had great luck with any colour of the DyeMore line or the regular Dye. If DyeMore doesn't take, it is because of User Mistake of not reading directions. -With the regular Rit depending on the natural fiber you are using, you either add 1 cup additional SALT or 1 cup VINEGAR for Wool or Rayon. I person do 1 cup of either/or per gallon of water+packet/bottle of dye.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! Got fantastic colour from super pink and sapphire blue within a half hour of the dyeing process. The colours also blend perfectly with each other if you're going or an ombré/more traditional tie-dye look. Dye was used on a cream faux leather jacket that was washed before the dyeing process and also soaked in clean water before being introduced to the dye.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage Did Absolutely nothing! I have %100 polyester soaking in a slop sink for 10 hours. I put just enough water for fabric to move around freely and use the entire bottle.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Color Accurate I bought this to dye the carpet in my vintage BMW. Instead of nice black as I had hoped it turned the carpet Navy Blue. Lol! Fortunately for me Navy Blue still works with my interior but do not trust the color! Try a test spot first.
