Unfinished rocket birdhouse
What a wonderful unfinished rocket birdhouse! I was able to paint them in lots of wonderful color combinations. My favorite are retro colors. More people need to try!

Fun Youth Group Project
So much fun to paint! We let our group have $5 and 10 minutes to pick an object to paint when they got back to the cabin. Michael’s has so many fun object that it was a literally “blast.” Definitely will be doing this again.

Broken Bird House...and eggs :(
We purchased this along with the gazebo style bird house. The gazebo fell apart after two days, so we were optimistic when this one held up and a pair of chickadees built a nest in it. The bottom half of the rocket completely separated from the top (came unglued), resulting in a broken bird house, 3 broken eggs and a really sad little boy who feels awful for the poor birds. Was fun to paint, but don't recommend actually using this as a bird house.

Not best quality. One of the "legs" was coming apart - but that could be due to the poor packaging for shipping (all the birdhouses were just thrown in a box with a little bubble wrap for protection). Other than that, I think the grandsons will enjoy painting it - after gluing it together, of course.

Sturdy construction except one of the legs was loose. Applied some gorilla glue. Base coat needed before paining natural wood enhances the appearance. My grandson loved it.
