romantic floral bridal bouquet

This romantic bridal bouquet is sure to turn heads at your wedding! Let us show you how to build a stunning arrangement with our floral and greenery – you’ll add peonies, roses, eucalyptus and more to make a glorious bouquet that’s perfect for the romantic bride!
Step 1
Project Note: As you build this bouquet, you’ll hold it in one hand, and add flowers with the other. Make sure you have all your floral elements within reach as you begin!

To build your bouquet, begin with your focal flowers (especially the larger blooms, like peonies and roses) and use them to establish the shape of your bouquet. Remember that you don’t want your bouquet to be completely balanced. A little asymmetry will give it a natural feeling.

TIPS: Here are a few tips to keep in mind as you create your bouquet:
   -  As you start, combine peonies and roses. They work well together to create a natural, asymmetrical shape that will serve as the base for your bouquet.
   -  Make sure to cluster at least some of the miniature roses close to your hand (the one that’s holding the bouquet) and arrange some of the peonies so that they’re arcing away from the bouquet’s center.
   -  Keep in mind that all of these floral elements have bendable stems. As you work, curve and angle the stems to give them the kind of bend or droop that you’d see in nature.
Step 2
Continue to hold your bouquet together with one hand. With the other, place eucalyptus leaves so that they fill in the spaces between the floral clusters.
Step 3
Once you’re happy with your arrangement, use floral wire to hold your bouquet’s shape. Wrap it tightly around the stems, close to the flowers.
Step 4
Once your bouquet is secured, use your floral cutters to trim the stems evenly, so that all of them are about 8" long, or a length you can comfortably hold in your hand.
Step 5
Next, cover the wire with floral tape. Stretch the tape as you wrap it to release its wax adhesive coating, which allows it to stick to itself.
Step 6
You’re almost done! Finish the bouquet by wrapping over the floral tape and wire with Cream ribbon. Use a dab or two of hot glue to hold the ribbon in place. Don’t trim the ribbon ends, though. Allow long tails to drape at different lengths.
