Nice feel & balance
Brush is great for hold an excellent amount paint. It cleans well. I like to long handle for balance because my hand shakes. It is worth money if you are going to use 3 or more times a month.

Good paintbrush for acrylic. Very long and funky (in a good way). I thought the length was helpful for propelling the brush. Pretty good overall.

Great Deal on a Nice Brush
Great deal on some brushes that hold their shape, and have a soft touch. I use them for oil paint and am happy with how they lay the paint down. Some of the heads come loose, so check that before you take them home. They can be epoxied on again with relative ease though.

Royal & Langnickel® Essentials™ Long Handle Round
Recently, I was invited to paint with someone. Normally I do not work in watercolor and my preferred medium would have been way to messy for the environment so I decided that I would go with acrylics which I have not painted with in decades. Looking at my ragged brushes that I still treasured, I could see that I needed a different brushes from the wide flat bristly brushes and the small fine point near microscopic ones I had. What I needed was a tapered medium size brush.
Off to Michaels for some acrylics I had seen on sale and to look for a brush. I will tell you I saw this one and knew it was the right one, but I had to go and flirt with the other brushes. In five minutes I had the brush in my hand. I was taken aback by the length of it. It seemed clearly for long bold strokes that I tend to neurotically avoid. The hairs were sublime and it was exactly what I was looking for. Large enough to cover area and fan out nicely. Pointed enough to be precise in my wobbly hand with some luck. Thirty seconds later it was in my cart and soon paid for. Honestly I looked for ward to using it as Saturday grew closer, and I appreciated that Michael's had everything I need on short notice. I have used it with two paintings so far and it was superb. I helped the billowing smoke from burning tanks so real you could smell burning fuel. It turned out to be great for sky and waves and I managed the horizon line with one fluid stroke with the paint laden hairs flaring wonderfully.
Hmmm, so yes, I liked the brush and honestly I have no idea what I paid for it, but it was worth every penny, but knowing Michael's, I am sure it was reasonable.

Happy Acrylic painting!
Received the Royal & Langnickel Essential Long Handle Round Brush set and first of all I was pleased as to the packaging, each bush nicely placed and held into place with a band. They apply the paint very smoothly and clean up well. If I take proper care of these brushes I'm sure they will last quite a while.
