Sharpie® Oil-Based Paint Marker, Fine Point is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 103.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tough to Work, But Still Worthwhile It takes a lot of shaking to prime the marker. That is my gripe with the item. But its versatility on many surfaces (I bought mine with EVA foam in mind) makes it a solid addition to any arts & crafts kit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's okay I purchased this marker so that I can write on black bulletin board paper. I already had this in broad line so I wanted something more fine. I tried to use this but the white didn't turn out as nice as I was hoping. It wasn't a solid white and it was blotchy. I even tried this on a violet purple bulletin board paper and the white just didn't show up. It might be the type of paper I was using but I would think that the oil-base would work on many surfaces including the type of paper I was using. I haven't tried this on card stock paper yet. Hopefully I'll have better result.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect porcelain project I bought these markers to write my family's cookie recipe on a baking dish. It worked perfectly: wrote smoothly, stayed well, etc. I let it set for a few days, then baked it for 20 minutes at 350 degrees (the internet recommended this). Baking it did not affect the black, green or gold markers, but it did fade the red marker slightly. The big mistake I made, however, was applying dishwasher-friendly Modge Podge on top (again, advice from the internet). It immediately smudged everything. The internet did redeem itself, however, and explained that vodka or rubbing alcohol with a q-tip undoes your dumb mistakes, and this was perfectly true. (I used vodka, because I had more of that on hand lol.) I am definitely keeping these markers around for future projects.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great when it works Love this however They do not work for long. Typically the point fails long before the paint runs out. I’m an artist and am very gentle with it. Poor construction that can leave you with a puddle of paint instead of a sharp fine line.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a fine point whatsoever If this is a fine point, I’d hate to see what the thick point looks like. So not the look I expected. Fine point? No.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sharpie mugs The markers works well at first use, just have to shake them rigorously for awhile (greater than 5min) to bring the ink down to the tip. Be careful once the pens has been used several times, it may appear that there’s no more ink but I found out during my project that a burst of ink will come out sporadically when writing on the mugs. Wasting a lot of ink. I noticed during my project you can’t give a second coat on dried ink if the pen is not producing a lot of ink, it will rub off previous ink. I took a point off for wasting ink and letters rubbing off on second coat. Overall the pens worked well for my project.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really like this pen! Good coverage for a white paint pen. This fine tip pen will last, unlike the extra fine tip pen which clogs up easily and becomes useless. I use these to paint rocks.
