Good for miniatures
Used these to make a miniature lattice fence, they cut really well and are all consistent with each other. Would buy again if I needed this size in the future!

Stir Sticks for melt and pour soap craft
These soap stir sticks were exactly what I needed to complete my melt and pour soap craft. They are long enough to stir the soap in my large glass measuring bowl, but not too long that they are awkward. Just perfect.

Didn’t use these for their desired purpose
Bought these as a cheaper alternative to balsa for a diorama. Considerably cheaper, easy to cut, much more “bang for the buck”.

Better options out there
Great for stirring, terrible siding for my tiny house. They're sturdy, though fairly short so I can't imagine stirring any thing larger than 3 or so inches in depth. They're also very uneven in cut and rarely are the sides parallel, and are much more expensive than food grade coffee stir sticks. Not coming back for these, but I'll use up what I do have.

Horrible - splinters & leave wood flakes
These sticks have flat ends.
While stirring or breaking up pieces (by pushing around), the end of these sticks always flake & leave splinters / wood specks. This happens in soap, wax, candy, pretty much anything.
A much better option for stirring without flaking & leaving splinters/specks are;
5.5" Wood Craft Sticks by Creatology
They are rounded on the ends. So, they don't flake, but those sticks are thin & easily break in thick material or unrelated chunks.

Purchased the soap stirrers to make a candy bouquet. The sticks being flat makes it easy to attach candy to each side. The stick size is just right for small bouquets. This is another way to use a product for something that it was not intended for.
