You Need To Know What YOU Are Going To Use It For.
A "sketch" book is not a drawing pad. Sketches are for lighter stroke sketches with minimal to zero erasing. If you are a heavy-handed sketcher than this is not for you. I would get a "drawing pad."

Be aware the Artist Loft Sketch Book is different than the Necessities Sketch Book by Artist Loft. Since these are inexpensive I use them as notebooks. If I choose to do a light-handed sketch of an apple on my grocery list than lol so be it.
It's 50lb paper with a smooth tooth and that's probably the most important thing to know.
