Perfect for beginners and advanced artists
I don't generally use these for "doodles" because they aren't cheap, but I do use them when I have an idea and I want to start a piece. The different sizes help with shading and how dark you want the lines to be.
Love these, will buy again, buy an eraser because (obviously) they don't come with one.

Pretty standard
These pencils are about the same quality as the Staedtler brand pencils I own. The softer 4b graphite broke a few times during handheld sharpening. They have a full wood shaft verse composite material.

Great Pencils
I decided to try sketching and these are perfect for begginers. I have made a lot of good drawings that turned out preety good. There is also many different shade of pencils which will really help you.
