spring tulip pitcher arrangement

Step 1
Use a dry paintbrush to apply some chalky paint to the bottom of the tin pitcher to create a band. Let dry.

TIP: No need to be perfect, as the look is designed to be a bit rustic and natural. The paint band helps balance the overall look of the arrangement.
Step 2
Rub a piece of sandpaper over the paint, allowing it to look imperfect and rustic.
Step 3
Cut a block of floral foam to fit inside the tall pitcher.

TIP: This will help keep the tulip stems in place and at different heights.
Step 4
Place a bundle of Cream and Blush tulips into the floral foam as a starter to the arrangement.
Step 5
Trim off several individual tulip stems from the bundles and place them in the front, closer to the pitcher lip.
Step 6
Trim off several individual green tulip stems and mix them into the Cream and Blush tulips for contrast.
Step 7
Fill in any remaining tulip stems, making sure to bend some so they can drape over the edge of the pitcher, as tulips do naturally.
