red, white, and blue stacking stretch bracelets

These red, white and blue stretch bracelets are perfect for showing off your summer style! We’ll show you how easy it is to mix and match your favorite beads and charms. You can make them, stack them up and then share them with friends!
Step 1
Cut one 10" length of Stretch Magic® jewelry cord for each bracelet you’re going to make.
Step 2
Pick out the beads you’d like touse, and thread them onto each of the stretch cords. The number of beads you’ll need for each bracelet will vary based on their size, so just measure against your own wrist as you work. This will help you make sure each strand of beads is long enough.

TIP: Have fun with all your red, white, blue and rhinestone beads! Mix and match the colors and styles as much as you like, or you can use our project image as a guide. See how they look stacked together, then make some more!
Step 3
Once you’ve strung a bracelet with beads, tie the Stretch Magic® into a tight surgeon’s knot and then tuck its ends back through the closest beads. Do this for each bracelet as you finish adding beads.
Step 4
Add a dab of bead stringing glue over the knot. Now, pull the endstight, so the two closest beads press together tightly, hiding the knot. Trim the ends of the stretch cord, then set your bracelet aside to give the glue time to dry. Repeat for the rest of your bracelets, too!
Step 5
Finally, slip a few pretty star charms onto your bracelets. To do this, open the jump ring at the top of your charm, then slide it onto your bracelet, in between two beads. Now you can close the jump ring. Repeat for as many star charms as you‘d like to add. Once that’s done, you’re ready to stack them up and show them off!

TIP: Here’s the best way to open and close a jump ring: grasp the jump ring on both sides with chain nose pliers, then twist the ring open from side to side. Never pull the jump ring apart, since that can distort its circular shape. We’ve got a quick video that’ll show you how, click here.
