Mat was as expected but included pen was not
Based on the packaging you would think the included pen had a thick tip. It’s just a basic pen. You can see my scribble beside the example. Glad I checked before our event and packed markers for signing. The mat was as expected.

Misleading Product
Was very disappointed. Product said it fit a 5x7 photo, however the 5x7 photo didn't fit. I measured with a ruler and the opening was only 4 1/2×6 1/2.

TOO THICK!
This was purchased to put into a frame with glass and the thickness of the mat was too thick that the frame wouldn't close and that was only discovered AFTER everyone signed it... Would not purchase again. Also despite what the website says, it apparently is not available in store...

Well-crafted, Economical Find
These bevel-cut single mats were a treasure-find for my photography display on a budget, easily costing one-third of a custom mat. Attached pens are useful elsewhere. The only catch: Prints must be sized to fit the opening, not vice-versa.

Good product
I use this to get signatures for my MLS soccer team that I have season tickets to. I made a cross stitch of their shield and put this in. This allows me to get signatures of all my favorite players. Never had a problems with the sizes of the opening but I am not putting a picture in it but a cross stitch which is custom made.

Great way to create memories but a bit flimsy
The pen provided worked well on the board. When taken out of the package the back to the board wasn't strong and I had to tape it together. I was expecting a little more stability with the canvas.
