Great needles!

Won't fall out of your work
I tried to knit the sleeves of a baby sweater in the round with aluminum needles and was soooo frustrated because they kept falling out of the stitches. These bamboo needles were the answer. They are lighter weight and not as slippery as aluminum needles. The aluminum ones were also too long making them hard to manage. You can get these bamboo needles in a 5" length that is just perfect for tiny baby things. Also, there are 5 of the bamboo needles rather than only 4. These just worked so much better for me.

Stitches don't slip off
Some users complain that these needles slow them down, but I love them because the stitches don't slip off easily by mistake. I have tried metal dpns and hated them. I will only knit on dpns if they are wood or bamboo.

Lovely needles
These needles are light and move smoothly thru the yarn. Because they are made of bamboo, there is a tiny amount of friction, just enough that they don’t fall out of the stitches. Sometimes, my metal needles slide out and land on my lap at the begging of the work, when I’m only a row or two in. I WILL be purchasing more of these on the future.

Renewed my faith in DPNs
I'm pretty new to knitting and was struggling with the metal DPNs with 8-10 points to drop a stitch from I seemed to drop a few every round. I was easily able to finish the beanie I was working on thanks to these, no dropped stitches and the long tapers make decreasing as easy as can be. The only minor draw back is they do come to a pretty good point so splitting yarn is easy to do so you do have to slow down a bit more and pay close attention. Buying the 3.25mm next to finally get somewhere on the socks I started ages ago.

I have always used metal knitting needles.Bought my first bamboo ones d other day & I am SO happy that I did!!They are great,main feature I loved is that they don't slip off:) The price is double of ordinary knitting

Bamboo DPNs
Bamboo needles are not my first choice, but that's just a matter of personal preference. My favourite needles are stainless steel, followed by aluminum. I bought this set of needles because they were the only ones the store had available in the size I needed for my next project, and I did not want to shop around or wait for an online purchase. They are smooth, rigid, and--unlike metal needles--warm in the hands. In the past, I have only worked with sets of four DPNs; having a fifth needle was very nice, making the DPN project feel less cumbersome. On the downside, the points are a bit sharper than I prefer--I tend to split my yarn more with sharper points. But it's all a matter of preference. Some knitters will probably prefer the sharper points and the feel of the bamboo.

The wooden needles are smooth
