Get a new dispenser
I too had an issue with the adhesive not working properly. I contacted Tombow and was told it was the mechanism in the dispenser that goes bad. I did so and haven't had any issues. I now buy a new dispenser with my bulk Tombow order which also helps to get me to the free shipping.

Great tool
Great small tool to use when bonding paper. I used it for making small envelopes out of cardstock and it worked great keeping the seams together without the mess of liquid glue.

defective
I have bought this product for years for my cardmaking - I usually buy the 3 pk. The last ones I bought 2 of them were defective after a couple uses and I ended up throwing them away. I would certainly not spend the $ for 12 if half of them don't work.

Okay, could be better
I like the holder, however as you use more of the tape it gets increasingly diffocult to use. As i would get to the end of a roll it would tear small pieces of my card stock. Not sure if its a design issue or a tape issue.
