This Camp Creativity craft will really make a splash with your kids this summer.
Step 1 |
Brush the paint across the ridges around the outside of a jumbo baking cup. Set aside to dry. Repeat previous step to a second baking cup. |
Step 2 |
Use a pencil to create a small hole in the center on the bottom of one of the painted baking cups. Turn the baking cup upside-down. Cut a piece of yarn to desired length to hang. Thread it through the hole that is now on top and glue the end pieces on the inside of the baking cup. |
Step 3 |
Cut 6-8 strips of the crepe paper to 15" in length. Cut each strip in half, vertically. |
Step 4 |
Glue the narrow strips to the inside of the paper liner. Glue the second liner to the inside. |
Step 5 |
Trim the crepe paper “tentacles”, if uneven. Share your project photos with #MadeWithMichaels |
