Step 1 |
Using separate plates for each color, pour a small amount of each watercolor paint onto a plate. |
Step 2 |
Add an equal amount of water to Habañero watercolor paint. Starting at the top of the frame, apply paint with horizontal brush strokes. Add more water as you apply paint to approximately one third of the frame. |
Step 3 |
Repeat Step 2 with Pink Dahlia watercolor paint, working from the bottom of the frame up. |
Step 4 |
Apply Wine watercolor paint to the middle part of frame, blending into Habañero and Pink Dahlia watercolor paints. Allow to dry thoroughly. |
Step 5 |
On one frame, place the XO adhesive stencil on the bottom right corner of frame, as shown. Apply Habañero watercolor paint with a small dauber. |
Step 6 |
Starting in the middle of the bottom part of the second frame, stencil one section of the heart border adhesive stencil with Habañero watercolor paint. Apply more repeats of the stencil to the left and right of center until it bleeds off the edges of the frame. |
Step 7 |
Allow all paint to dry thoroughly before use. Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
