Wrong Color
Burgundy came out hot pink (even after using 2 whole bottles). I had to add an entire container of yellow, half of black, and 3 of Christmas red to correct the color. You have to use a lot, which adds a nasty aftertaste and the colors are not all accurate! Having said that, the yellow worked out fine, so I guess it depends on the individual color you are using.

Great blood.
I’m all over the FX makeup scene! The thing is I’m operating on a budget so concentrated gel like this gets the job done! Feeling very bloody.

Just the purple I was looking for
This purple turned out perfect. I usually mix my own purple l, but it never turns out quite the way I want it. Glad I tried the Wilton violet!

The color is fine...
But it definitely came with that nasty taste! if you have to use a good amount, look elsewhere.

Christmas red
For decorating Christmas cookies, I have found this Christmas red is more of a cheery light red (pink). It never seems to get to the dark Santa red color. I have tried the Red Red color and it pulls to an ugly orange red that also never makes it to a darker color. With that really being my only two options for Christmas butter cream frosting, I will stick with the Christmas red.

Terrible taste
In order to get the right color, I used over half the bottle on 1 cup of buttercream. Then I tasted the buttercream and it was terrible. I had to throw it out. I don’t recommend.

Best Food Gel Colors
This gel was so great to work with, the colors did not fade and stayed bright after baking
